Spain relinquishes her title to Cuba, cedes Puerto Rico and other Indian islands to America, all to be immediately evacuated. Under a Com • migsioner America will hold Manila, pending an arrangement and a treaty whioh shall determine the disposition of the Philippines. The Peace Commission meets in 1 Paris before Ootober Ist. Fighting has been stopped everywhere, and the blockade of Cuba and Manila raised.
