The London correspondent of the Australasian Paetoralist Review supplies the following figures, to show what profits are m .da in ihe Old Country on New Zealand frozen meat, as compared with the Home production. The figures given below represent reta>! prloes at an establishment which tarns over say £150 a week. Scotch sheep, weighing 601 be, at 7d per Ib, £1 15s ; profit, 4s lOd. Can erbury sheep, 641bs, at 3Jd per lb, 18s 8d ; profit, 4s lid. New Zealand she<p, 641bs, at 2gd per lb ; profit, 4s Bd.
