J L .rd Dj Warr received £11,300 for pining the French Danlop Paeu»vi<Mc Company and persuading Lord A.!bsmarle to join. The Earl ,f Wmcheloua wa3 paid £10,000 for U'^comin^ chairman of the Cycle Tube ihtnufacturars' Company. Misny thousands were paid to Lord Djerhurat, Da La Warr and other 3 Baron Ashburton, Earl Warwick, Eirl Noibury and other titled personage* figuring in the prospectus In connection with Singer's Company Mr George Singer obtained £50,000 for acting as director, and Messrs Lawson and Johnson were paid £50,000 for selling •• Bovril " and becoming director. The statement caused a sensation.
