AN AMERICAN CONSUL'S THREAT.

The American Consul at St. Thomas, a Danish island in tbe West Indies, threatens to remove the coal stores, despite the fact that he has been warned that coal is a contraband of war. Tbe Governor declares that a Danish gunboat, assisted by German French and Italian warships, will prevent the removal of the ooal. The Consul asserts that he will try nevertheless.
