* Messrs Abraham and William? rppoit as follows : — S"I?8 were held during tl c week at Pahiatua aDd Palmerston. At Palmerston sheep were present p average supply, but very few tattle came forward. Really veil fitted sheep sold freely and advanced p value. Sound and good condi joned wethers were in d<m«nd and incited keen competition. Ewes in tmb were in better demand and jpld readilj at quotations. Good rffers were made for the fat bullocks tptered. Quotations : — " Palmerston Sheep -Fat wethers la 6d to 12s fat ewes 8) to 10.* 2d, !)i ward wethprs 103 to 10* lid, store yetbers B=i Gd, Romney ewes in lamb ,'■ |i to 9i 2d, wethers 4^ Id, forward jrwßa 3d t0.6«, culls do. 2s 7d. j^ttle— Fat bullocks (medium) £6 7it cow £5, cows in calf 22* 6d to : 3? i7i 6a.
