M. Meline, President of the Chamber of Deputies, has resigned, and declined an invitation by President Faure to reconstruct the Cabinet. MM. Loubet and Deschanes ad vise the formation of a Cabinet of conciliation by securing the Be. publican majority and 40 indepen dent members of the Bight. M. Bibot will probably be Premier.
