SINKING OF THE MERRIMAC.
Reports received in Madrid indicate that the collier Merrimao, which wa s torpedoed and sunk at the entrance to Santiago Harbour, can be easily removed. Admiral Cerveras shook hands with Lieutenant Hobson and congratulated him on his pluck.
