MORE ABOUT THE FLEETS.

Commodore Schley has reported to the American Government that he has recognised the vessels of Admiral Cerveras' fleet at anchor in the Bay of Santiago de Cuba. Mr J. D. Long secretary for the Navy, neither confirms nor denies the report of Commodore Sohlely that he sighted three of Admiral Cerveras 1 fleet at Santiago de Cuba The impression prevails in America that four of the Spanish fleet were in a disabled condition, and although in formation, Admiral Sohley's approach prevented the effecting of repairs. The fleet had time to escape from Santiago.
