America and Spain.

Capture of an English war CORRESPONDENT. Mr E. F. Knight, the special war correspondent of the Timet, has been captured by the Spaniards in Cuba. He was being surreptitiously landed on the coast when his boat was swamped, and he was arrested by a party of soldiers. He is now imprisoned at Havana. The Times says that Senor Sagasta Premier, sanctioned Mr Knight's (war correspondent) proceeding to Cuba, and that his arrest was due to a misunderstanding, and that he will shortly be released.
