AMERICANS CAPTURE 400,000 DOLLARS.
The American monitor Terror (380 tons) sighted the Spanish steamer Guido, which had banked her fires.
The Guido attempted to escape and the Terror gave chape. Before the chase was over an American gunboa fc came in eight and went to the assistance of the Terror.
Eventually the Guido wa3 forced f.o surrender. In additicn to her ordinary cargo, she had on board 400,Q00dols intended for the payment of the Spanish troops.
