The British and American war correspondents follow the American blockading squadron everywhere in fast despatch boats.
The House of Representatives has adopted the War Revenue Bill and the increase of foreign tonnage dues.

The Spanish Philippine squadron is lying off Cgvate, a fortified seaport ten miles' to the southward of Manila, while Admiral Slewey's fleet has been sighted off Bohinoa, in the island Luzon, one of the Philippine group.
The three American warships which bombarded port Cabanas, in Cuba claims to have destroyed the forts. Tha Spaniards declare the bombardment caused no damage.
The Time 9 Gibraltar correspondent states that Spain obtained delivery of 170,000 tons of coal before the commencement of the war.
The American battleship Oregan, 10,288 tons 11,110 horse power 16.7 knots, 473 men has arrived at Bio Janeiro.
