A Fruitful Tale.
All amongst the plums, apricots and apple trees, in their beautiful and eptfoious orchard at Wetherill Park, not far from Fairfleld, N.SW., reside Mr and Mrs Bennett, in the midst of bowering beauty. But even here, healthy as the locality might seem to be, the inroads of illness have made sad and ser ous havoc. Still, that is all passed now, and health and happiness hold undisputed sway once more. As a reporter entered the grounds the other day, Mrs Bennett willingly abandoned her occupation of picking mulberries to have the following chat with him :— " For 12 years." s'ie said, " I suffered terribly from general debility. I cannot find words to tell you how ill I was. I felt so miserably low and depressed in spirits that I really hardly cared whether I lived or died. I cared for nothing, and sometimes, when I saw visitors coming up towards our house, I got out of the way, for I felt so miserable that I positively couldn't speak to them. At nights I slept very badly. I had the most terrible headacheß. On the top of all this, about 5 years ago I was attacked with liver complaint, and was continually being laid up with fearful fits of biliousness. I couldn't look at food. I had an excessive and obstinate costiveness. Doctors attended me, but they failed to do anything for me, though I paid one gentleman no less than £30. I also had severe indigestion and sickness. In fact I may say I was in a hopeless state. In addition to doctors' physio, it is no exaggeration to say I tried scores of different sorts of medicine, but all uselessly. One day a little book containing accounts of cures by Dr Williams' Pink Pills for Pale People was left at our house. I was struck by the air of truthfulness of the cases reported. I sent for a trial box. I found they did me a considerable amount, of good. I got more, and exactly followed the directions as to the taking of them. They acted splendidly. My troublesome coßiivenesi disappeared; my appetite returned to me; my indigestion gradually went, and so did my liver complaint and those severe fits of biliousness and sick headache, and I grew fat and well, and could eat grandly. Four boxes entirely cured me. It in some months since, and I have seen no signs of a return of any of my complaints or disorders. I am positive that Dr Williams' Pink Pill for Pale People have given me a new lease of life, and I shall ever be grateful, and have already I recommended them to lots of people. I forgot to say my husband was troub ed with severe headaohes, and three boxes entirely cured him."
