TESTIMONIALS.
From General B. Blood, C.8., &c, commanding Bundelkhand District, Bengal, who states: — I have known Conductor J. McQueen during his whole service in the Corps of Royal Engineers. He is a man of exemplary character in all respects. I am personally certain of his absolute sobriety, probity, and trustworthiness, of all of which I have had ample means of judging, especially during the last 5 or 6 years when Conductor McQueen has held a position of much responsibility under my command. He is a man of considerable ability, and has had a rather large experience of work of various kinds, while he has been in charge of the Regimental Workshop of the Bengal Sappers and Miners at Roorkee. He thoroughly understands clerical work and accounts, and the management of correspondence. Finally his family are estimable and satisfactory in every way. - Agra, 20th March, 1893.
Major M. C. Barton, R.E., Commandant Bengal Sappers and Miners ; Colonel H. P. Leach, D.5.0., Military Secretary to His Excellency the Com-mander-in-Chief, Bombay; and the Hon. Secretary ot the Board of Directors of the Glasgow University Union, write all in the same strain.
