Attempted Assasination of the Sultan.
Private letters received from Constantinople state that the guards mutinied at Yildiz Kiosk, and attempted the life of tha " Sultan, because they were furious at the war ngainst Greece having resulted in no addition of territory. The mutiny was suppressed after 100 had b?en killed and many wounded.
