The Queensland Floods.

♦ The rain at Brisbane ceased on Monday night, but the river ia still rising rapidly. Cairn 3 and Townsville are threatened by floods. Railway communication is interrupted in several directions. The river continues to rise several inches an hour, and it ia expected to reach the level of the 1890 flood. The people of South Brisbane are quitting their homes.
