Wedding.
A pretty, though quiet wedding took place on Tuesday,, at tbe residence uf an old settler in tbis district, Mr James Saunders of Moutoa. His daughter Mary was there martied to Mr Geo. Nicholls in the presence of a goodly number of the fjmily and relatives. At 8 p.m. the -lev. S. Barnett read tbe marriage service, the bride being tastefully attired and attended by her two neices—Amy and Ada Kirby. The usual accompaniments of such an event were in evidence. Their classes in the Sabbath School had subscribed for a presentation album and writing stand. An illuminated address, the creditable work of Master £V?re Honore, was presented by the minister, and the following text will shew the kind feeling accompanying fc : — Shannon P. M. to place on record pur appreciation of yoqr character and work. Fdr upwards of seven years you have served the Church of your choice freely and faithfully ' as members? teachers and choristers respectively.
Rains, rivers, darkness and distance have not deterred you from your loved employ; wherdjri yoU. have shdwrt & tdudhing example of fidelity in Christian service.
We, therefore, have real pleasure in asking your acceptance of this address as a token of good will and appreciation, and a memento of your associations as above.
Wishing you Heaven's choicest blessings in your married life, and trusting you may be long spared to serve the Master and His Church.
