OROUA v. WELLINGTON.
The last few days has witnessed a tournament on a smill acale in tbi j district, as the Wellington Polo team life their city ia3t we?k to do battle with all and sundry and selected the ground of the Oroua Polo Club as tbt> deciding place. On Saturday afternoon they met the Oroua team and though th" visitors played well and with capital good nature their opponents were too m^ny for them. Tan ie»m* were : — Wellington. — A Cooper (captain), E Oraufoid, Skerretc and Major Madoxs. Or )UA.— McLennan (captain), W. Stmng, B. Gower, and 0 Robinson. For the,Qr<>ua*, McLennan scored 1 goal, W. Strang 8. B. Gt>wer 1. and 0 Robinson 8 ; and for the Wellington's Crawford scored 2 goals. The Oroua team thus won the match by 8 goals to 2.
