A Pleasant Change of Fortune.
A mac named Fitzgerald, employed as a gardener in Adelaide has received a oable announcing his succession to the baronetcy of Deros by the death of his cousin. The baronetcy is the' oldest in England, though not a very rich one. Fitzgerald is a near relative of the Duke of Leinster and cousin of the Marquis of Dufferin. Wben he came of age he inherited £85,000, which he quickly spent in horse-racing and other effective way*. As captain of the Royal Irish Rifles, he served in Bfchuanaland under Sir Charles Warren, and came to the colonies two years ago, destitute.
