A report laid upon the table of the House shows that the olaimi for pensions received under the Registration of People's Claims Aot tof*l!ed 8010, of which number those of 3982 men and 1652 women were Emitted, 682 men and 848 women .vere rejected, 629 men and 246 women were postponed, and 409 men md 167 women were unadjusted. Anong the claimants were 14 acuouolants, 49 bakers, 1 barrister, 5 architects. 26 bushmen, 28 butchers, 28 cabinetmakers, 299 carpentert, 10 char-women, 5 chemists, 1 clergy, man, 41 clerks, 56 cooks, 1670 domestic duties, 14 domestic servants, 25 engineers, 852 farmers, 28 farm labourers and a like number of fishWinen, 249 gardeners, 44 goldmines, 4 hotelkeepers, 2 horse trainers, 1568 labourers, 2 journalists, 68 laundresses, 29 masons, 789 miners, 1 musician, 8 music teachers, 1 Native Land Court Judge, 101 nurses, 40 painters, 8 photographers, 8 printers, 82 sawyers, 69 seamen, 20 seamstresses, 154 settlers, 1 shearer, 128 shoemaker?, 19 shopkeepers, 2 solicitorg, 24 storekeepers, 48 tailors, 8 tailoresses, 23 teachers, 1 undertaker, 1 wharf labourer, 1 writer.
