Nomination of Councillors.
Very little interest was taken io the election of three councillors to fill the room of these retiring accord ing to law, and as will be seen only three candidates were Dominated, and heing the number required were duly declared elected by the Returning Officer, viz. : — Phillip Joseph Hennessy, normmted by J. W. Walsh and 0. F. B. England. Alfred Fraser, nominated by E._ Oaborne and T. J. Mitchell. William Barnard Rhodes, nominated by B. S. Morley and 8. Wilson.
