The natives are fighting in the Miizoe district, Bechuanaland. They have cut down the Continental telegraph wire, and are converting the material into bullets. A patrol force killed 30 of them.
The Transvaal Yalksraad has adopted the treaty with the Orange Free; State providing ior closer union between the two oountriesi.
