Frozen Cream.
" Winnower " in the Hawera Star saya : — I hear that, a most important experiment has been tried successfully in connection with the dairy industry. lam informed that cream sent home frozen arrived in excellent condition, and that when it was manufactured into butter the product realised 13d per lb. A large company is to be formed to work tne undertaking. It would appear to be even more profitable to send the cream Home frozen than by manufacturing the butter in the colony. According to Swedish files to hand a large quantity of milk and cream is sent to London in a frozen condition from Denmark and Sweden, and Danes and Swedes consider it more profitable to send the product in this form than by manufacturing the butter.
