Record Reign Committee.

_♦ The above committee met yesterday afternoon at the Library Building, and there were present Messrs Stansell (in the chair), Eure, Westwood, Ennis, Young, Osborne, j Rhodes, Hennessy and Thynne. The following resolutions were carried : — Mr Stewart reported that a committee meeting the following pro- ■ gramme was drawn up, and on the proposition of Mr Stansell, seconded j by Mr Ennis. The programme was adopted in full. Proposed by Mr Eure, seconded by Mr Westwood, That the age for children competing be 15 years of age and under. — Carried. Proposed by Mr Stansell, seconded by Mr Rhodes, That Mr Overend be secretary.— Carried. Proposed by Mr Osborne, seconded by Mr Thynne, That Messrs Alf. Fraser and Eure be marshalla and have the oharge of the decoration of route and ground. — Carried. Proposed by Rev. R. Young, seconded by Mr Osborne, That in the event of a wet day the hall be engaged. Proposed by Mr Thynne, seconded by Mr Westwood, That the marshall's be requested to invite the natives in the distriot to attend the procession.— Carried. Proposed by Mr Hennessy, seconded by Mr Rhodes, That tenders be called for a refreshment booth. — Carried.
