The Nizam of Hyderabad has given a denial to the report that the diamond valued at £800,000, which was intended as a Jubilee gift to the Queen, has been stolen. President Faure and M. Hanotaux, Minister for Foreign Affairs, and several generals of the French army will visit the Czar at St. Petersburg in July. A violent scene has occurred in the. Chamber of Deputies. M. Richard, a Socialist, one of the representatives of the Department of the Seine, accused certain deputies of the Centre of being spies. For this be was censured by the President of the Chamber (M. Brisson) and ordered to withdraw, but he re fused until compelled by the guard to retire. Other Socialist deputies grossly insulted M. Brisson, and a great tumult ensued. Ultimately the Chamber adjourned.
