Hii Worship the Mayor hat reoeived the following letter from the Manawatu County Council j—m I have tha honour to inform you that the, question of the Foxton -Beach Road was again under consideration at to-day's meeting of the Council. The chairman (V. 0. Ransom, Esq.) and Councillor Strang were appointed to wait on you in reference to the road in question. The chair* man wished me to suggest that you meet at the Borough Council Chambers on Friday, the 28rd inst., at 12 noon. — F. Parnell, County Clerk."
