Tho Greeks have out the telegraph lines communicating with Qrevena. and Janina, in Albania, well io Turkish territory.
A force of 1000 Greek Volunteers
ended the effort* of M. Delyannit , Premier of Greece, to intercept them, and orossed the frontier. It ig their intention to endeavour to oocupy Janina.
In connection with the fighting on the Turco-Qreoian frontier, it ig currently believed that Greeoe, fear* ing that after the warning given by the Powers she may appear to be the aggressor, is utilising the irregular troops raised by the National Leagar j»~, to compel Turkey to declare war. The Sulthn has issued orders to mobilise 14,000 Albanian irregular troops.
The maintenance of the army ig costing Greece £20,000 daily, and the financial strain is too heavy for the country to bear.
