Foxton Lawn Tennis Club.
The Committee of the above met at Whyte's Hotel on Tuesday •vening and selected the following players to represent the club against the Sandon team on the 22nd inst. : —Messrs 0. Robinson, Cowtts,' Little and Cook ; Mrs Stewart, MissesPurcell, Symoas and O'Brien. Emergencies : Messrs Lamb, Hamer, Misses Young aud'L. Symons. The matter of arranging games and other details was left over until the opposing team had been consulted. . ; . The Sandon team comprise the following :— Messrs P. PurnelJ, C. J. Hart, F. Anderson, and &. H. Wrigley; Misses J. Hammond, Potier (2), and one lady vacancy to be filled. The Sandou players are practising assiduously, and play against Bol^ on Saturday next at Bulls.
