Medical Man Sentenced.

At Glamorganshire Assizes, before Mr Justice Mathew, Timothy Jones, a medical man, and Henry Richards, medical assistant, were indicted for the wilful murder of Lily Mand Challenger, who died from the effects of an illegal operation in August at Swansea. Deceased, in company with a young man named Muller, to whom she w&s engaged to be married j viaited Dr Jones' house half a dozen times. Instruments were used, and chloroform was administered on Beveral occasions.— Muller, uncUr cross-examination, pjeaded ignorance aa to the condition of Miss Challenger until she became seriously ill. —The jury returned a verdict of manslaughter. — Jones was sentenced to penal servitude for life, and Richirds to five years penal servitude.
