Mrs Dunckley's Fund.
The Committee appointed to disburse the amounts received for Mrs Danckley now publish their balance sheet. In a few words it may be stated that Mrs Danckley has received equal to £11 in cash and good?, and the balance bas been laid oat in purchasing a cottage and removing it to land comprising six acres leased at a low rental from the. Anglioan Church. Rent for sis months in advance has been paid as wo'l as a year's insurance on the building. A new tank has bten purchased and put up. To do this the committee found there was not then sufficient money but on the Manawatu Bowing Club committee being appealed to, they generously gave one guinea. The' committee consisted of Messrs Stansell, Curtis and Bbodes and they are to be congratulated on the result of their efforts.
