President Eruger, interviewed on the subject of the indemnity, said a claim will be put in early in December for a reasonable amount, but it will be presented to the Imperial Government, not to the Chartered Company. The Transvaal Government is " commandeering " the Outlandera to prevent the rinderpest, but wealthy people are allowed to engage substitutes.
