The eruption of Mount Vesuvius is increasing. M. Hanotaux, Minister for Foreign Affair*, says the Powers are cousidering whether they should make further demands from tha Sultan. Le Temps states that the Sultan's advisers suggest the revision of Midhat Pasha's Constitution, which would possibly pacify Europe.
