On Monday night there will be a pleasant social gathering at the Public Hal!, to welcome the Rev. R. and Mrs Young. The hour fixed is rather late, but it cannot be avoided owing to the service at the ohuroh.
There is no improvement in the harvest out'ouk in Victoria. Hot winds are doing great damage, and indeed, rain would now be of iittte use, as everything appears to be beyond the improvement stags. It is daily more evident that there will be a very light harvest.
