The Progressive Liberal Association of Christchurch has forwarded a circular to all Liberal and Labour organisations requesting them to agree to the following platform: - 1. Extension of powers of Local Governing Bodies, and the adoption of a and householders roll oa the one»man»one»vote principle. 2. Referendum. 3. Eight hours to constitute a legal working day, and the establishment of a minimum wage. 4. Old Age Pensions. 5. Nationalisation of the Land and Minerals. 6. The establishment of a State Bank v/ith a monopoly of a note if sue. 7. Immediate reform of the Upper Eouse. 8. Elective Ministry.' 9. 'J he removal of civil and political disabilities fr«.m women.
