Masonic.
Tha meeting of Manawatu Kilwlnulng Lodge last evening (Wednesday) was very largely attended. One candidate was initiated and four were passed. Another candidate for initiation was accepted, and two others were proposed. The balance iheet and auditor's report showed the Lodge to be in an excellent financial position. A sum of money was voted for relief of a case of distrail at Kaitangata. At the conclusion of the Lodge business the W.M.| on behalf of the member?, presented Bro. Rev. B. Young with • Masonic apron in case, as a 9light token of the esteem and respect in which he is held by the " brethren of the mystic tie," at the same time expressing regret at his approaching departure for Foston, and wishing him happiness and prosperity in hia new sphere of work. Bro. Young, who was evidently taken by surprise, very feelingly responded. — Manawatu Tim*.
