How to Clean Glass Carafes.
A >very simple thing to do is to tear a newspaper into small bits and nearly or quite fill the carafe. Then pour in warm toapsuds, with a little ammonia added, and shake well. The paper will soon Moor the bottle thoroughly clean, and it only remains to rinse it out well before using it again.
