The damsel was neatly dressed in a welladjusted bodice and skirt made of a dark and soft material, while the young man was arrayed in tourist s tunic and knickerbockers, finished off with worsted stockings and brown •hoes. As they neared Brentford the gentleman suddenly remarked, ! " Hallo t I've found a ring in my pocket." The lady blushed. In a < minute or two he said, " Hallo, here's a registrar's office. Do you think they do marriages there ?" Sbe said softly that she thought she did, and he promptly added, " Then ' let's go in and get married."
