How to Make Claret Gap.
To « bottle of light olaret add half a pink of cold water, a tablespoonral of powdered lug&r and a dram each of cinnamon, cloves and allspioe, finely powdered. Mix all well together, then add to the onp half the thin rind of a small lemon and put on the top a sprig of borage. In India-slioes of fresh limes are substituted for the lemon and a green ohili and a glass of brandy added.
