Mxssbs Abbaham and Williams' Stock Bepoet. We have to report upon Pahiatua tncl Palmeraton sales. At the former on Tuesday the most of the cattle yarded were heifers and young stock. They were not much in demand. Sheep mastered freely and generally were of good quality, prices without change, and all but one lot sold. At Falmerston sheep came forward in moderate numbers, though some good breeding ewes were yarded and competition was brisk ; prices were relatively Is under last quotations, other classes without quotable change. In cattle the feature of the sale was a line of yearling steers and heifers from the Oroua Downs estate. They yarded up in the best of order and elicited favourable comment. Bidding was brisk and heifers and steers speedily

cleared at £2 8s and £2 5s for the former and £2 11 for the latter. A couple of pens of cow beef proved dull of sale, though a portion was ultimately sold at JB4 7s Gd. Romney breeding ewes, mixed ages, 8s 8d to 9s ; Lincoln do., 83 lid to 9d 9d ; forward fat ewes, 10a ; good lambs, 8s 4d ; store wethers, 10s 8d to 10s 9d ; culls, 83 9d. At Mr Darling's clearing sale on Wednesday the cows were in poor condition, though doubtless good milkers; prices for those in calf ranged from £2 10a to £5 17s 6d. Furniture and sundries satisfactory prices. Fafc wethera, 12s lOd ; forward ewes, 8s 9d; store wethers, 103 Id ; good lambs, 7a 7d ; 4-th breeding ewes, 9s 6d ; 4-tooth to f.m. do., 10s 2d ; weaner heifers, 27s ; yearling Bfceer3, 27s ; yearling heifers, 30s.
