The "Review of Reviews" Publications. ♦ From the Melbourne office of the Review of Reviews we have received a parcel of the popular publications initiated by Mr Stead. These comprise cheap novels such as " She " by Rider Haggard, •• Hypatia" by Charles Eingsley, and many others of similar character including some of Dickon's. Though the whole of die originals are not given, the abbreviations are so well made that the story retains its interest but is brought within reasonable limits. These are published in monthly parcels of four, and can be obtained post free for 10? 6d per annum. Then there aro the Penny Poets comprising works of Macaulay, Scott, Byron, Burns, &c, these are sent out monthly also in lots of four, for 63 per annum. The Books for the Bairns, profusely illustrated are pelted one a month for only 83 per annum. No one can grumble at the price, and the distribution of these books should be widely encouraged, as a capital, set off to the • penny dreadfuls ' which find such favour with the young. We have been taking these books before we received the parcel as we grasped their value directly we saw Mr Stead's announcement in the Review of Reviews, and we are sure all who see them will make sure of securing a continuance of the supply. YOU CAN'T Have a cake and eat it too, but you can have your meat and keep it in the warmest of weather by using " Saisaline," the great food preservative.
