The Buluwayo Field Force has been disbanded, and it is intended to replace it by 1000 police. The friendly natives, however, are still very restless. The Afrikander Corps have declined to be enrolled as troops at 6s per day, and have petitioned President Eruger for aid to enable them to leave Rhodesia. The Transvaal Government if ordering 60,000 rifles from Germany. The territory between Uganda and the Congo Free State is gazetted as within the protectorate of Uganda.
