Chrome — Xylograph.

In Tha Studio is an article by M. Henri Riviere as expressed in his ohromo — xylographs. In the St. James Budget there are a couple of reproductions of illustrations executed in this manner. We believe this is quite a new process and the name is obtained by the following process. «' Ohromolithography " is the process ■^ which a colour picture is repro Bused from prepared lithographic stones. So also " Xylograph " means an impression or print from a block of wood. Therefore we may assume this new process is that of usiog^ood instead of stone as a basis for the picture.
