Magistrate's Court, Foxton
(Before R. L. Stanford, Esq., S.M.) Thursday, 4th June. ' On the oourfc opening the Magistrate delivered hie judgment in tha long standing oaie of S. M. Baker ?. John Gillespie, Bailiff. It is a long and clear judgment, and as it is an important one we shall give it in «z---ttnso in our next issue. The decision of the Magistrate was to the effect that the charge of overcharge for mileage wa3 noli proved ; the charge of seizure of Lochnagar improperly mußt fall to the ground ; the charge of discourtesy was not true, and as to securing proper oare of the horse was proper ; further he would add that Constable Gillespie stood clear of all charges made against him, plaintiff to bear costs of defendant and Court coiti. •
