The Motoa Estate.

Mit J. (x. Wilson loses no tima in attending to the wishes of his constituents. The Wellington papers have only just announced \he remrn from the Kouth Inland of Mr MeKorrow and now we arc in receipt from Mi 1 Wilson of the particulars of his interview with him. This undoubtedly ib good work and on behalf of all thoso interested in getting the Moutoa Estate subdivided we thank Mr Wilson for doing his level best. Mr Wilson says that Mr McKerrow, nfcer returning from the south, found, naturally* a lot of work wait ing for him t which he Baid he must attend to before he could again visit the Motoa Estate, which, it will be remembered, the Minister for Lands promised he should be asked to do. Mr Wilson, knowing the impatience of the residents, urged Mr McKerrow to go up as early as he could, which he promised to do; Mr McKerrow perhaps feels handicapped in report* ing again on Motoa and has there* fore arranged that the other two Commissioners, the Surveyor-Gene-ral, and Mr Baker, the Commissioner for Crown Lands, shall go with him. These gentlemen will probably spend two or three days in the district as Mr Wilson urged Mr McKerrow to see all the holdings about the estate which would be the best objeot lesson that could be sup* plied as to how peoplo can live very comfortably on fii'3t-cla3S land, despite an occasional flood.
