Fire.

We have to record a fire last night at Carnarvon, by which the dwelling occupied by Mr Martin Boyle and his family was burnt to the ground. One of the children, about seven o'clock, upset a kerosene lamp, near the window curtains, and all that Mrs Boyle, Mr Boyle being away, could do, was to save the three Children. The family had to pass the night in a shod full of oats which only just escaped being also burnt to the ground. The nearest neighbour is Mr Frank Robinson, and only early this morning did he learn of the accident when he lost no time in sending round some clothes for the children who had literally nothing but their bed dresses. We regret to learn that everything else was lost. There is some insurance in the Northern Insurance Company, for which Messrs P. Hennessy & Co. are the agents.
