Accident.

What might have proved a fatal accident occurred this morning at l^r B. Spelman's yard on the Avenue road. Mr McGill was cutting firewood at the circular saw set in the yard, when without warning, the saw flew into many pieces, one of which cut the worker's cheek open. He was taken to Mr Hamer's who promptly cleaned and sewed the wound up, and reports the damage as very slight to what it might have been.
