• Wealthy Egyptians are opposing, under legal advice, the French action in regard to the use of the Caisse de la Dette funds for the Soudan ex> pedition. Friendly tribes have been victorious in frequent skirmishes near Suakim. The Dervishes have fled across Albara, with the Italians in pursuit.
