General Baratieri has been recalled, and will be court-mar Mailed. Signor Criepi, the Premier, has resigned, and his resignation has been accepted. There is no evidence that President Cleveland intends to act on the resolution recently passed by both Houses in favour of recognising the insurgents as belligerents.
