Bulls, March S. We held a most successful sheep fair at Feilding on Friday. We yarded 9000 sheep, and sold a large majority under the hammer at a substantial rise on recent rates. A good demand existed throughout for good j sorts of all classes, and bidding was spirited from commencement of sale. The 2 tooth ewes, on behalf of Mr D. Downes, fetched 10s, and the' same vendor's 4 tooth to f.m. ewes brought Bs. We. only turned out 5 pens unsold. We quote : — 2 tooth ewes, from 6s to 10s ; 4 tooth ewes, fi id to 7s 8d ; 4 and 6 tooth aod tm. ewes, 8s 6d to 5s ; crocks, 2s 2d fto 9 r^. . 4 tooth wetbw-f, 7t 3d to 7s i *ct ; % tooth wethers-, 6* .tt to 7a 84; 2 tooth «wes and wethers, mixed, fis -M to 6s ; forward ewos, ss ; fat (do., Ss 3d to 5a 8d ; mixed lambs, 8s to 8s 7d ; calls, 1 . Gd to 2s sd ; RomBey (Mns, $ guinea to 1 guinea ; Linids _-U08,.218 to 40s.
