Mesjrs Abraham and Williams' Stock Report. We had a short supply of sheep and practically no cattle at our sale bere on Thursday. There was a small attendance but those present were bent on business with the result that the yards were praotioally cleared mostly under the hammer. Btore wethers showed an improve* ment in demand and price, other aheep fairly maintained values. At Levin on Friday we had a full yard of cattle, sheep in short supply. Cattle sold freely. We quote — Mixed 2 tooth, 5s 6d to 6s 6d ; forward wethers, 7s 8d ; 2 tooth do., 6s 8d ; 4 and 6 tooth ewes, 6s ld »' full-mouth ewes, 4s ; shorn lambs Sa 3d ; cull woolly lambs, 2s 6d ; Linooln rams, £1 ls to £2 23 ; 2$ year heifers, £5 8s ; springing heifers, good quality, &i 15s; 18 month Steers, £2 12s ; weaners, 16a to 27s Cd ; weaner pigs, 4s to sb. Horbx Sals. A large attendance of the public turned up on Saturday at our horse Bale, when we yarded up 200 head of Maori horses from Porangahau. These were mostly in poor condition and represented the usual stamp of Maori weeds. Prices ranged from 14s for foals to £4 ls for grown horses, and averaged 32s 6d right throngh.
