The tennis tournament of combined doubles resulted as follows.; - Second Round. Mr Gower and Mies Symons, re-, ceiving 20. heat Mr Cowles and Miss Whyte by 19. Mr Curtis and Miss Purcell, giving 24 beat Mr Little and Miss Easton by 3. Third Round. Mr Curtis and Mi<»s Purcell, giving 14, beat Mr Gower and Mis 9 Symons by 16. Mr Ourtis and Miss Pnrcell therefore won the trophy.
